Dr. Mustafa Saad is a general dentist at Crown Point Smiles. His background includes a postgraduate oral and maxillofacial surgery internship.
Education and Surgical Training
After completing undergraduate studies at the University of California, Davis in 2019, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry in 2023.
Dr. Saad completed postgraduate surgical training through the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Internship at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in 2025. This one-year program includes hospital and outpatient clinical work and a rotation through Cook County Health. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Chicago Dental Society.
Clinical Focus and Approach
His areas of focus include wisdom tooth removal and complex tooth extractions, dental implants, bone grafting, sinus lift procedures, and fixed full-arch implant treatment.
Dr. Saad takes a calm, empathetic approach with nervous patients. Before treatment begins, he explains what it involves and why it is being considered, allows time for questions, and pays attention to how patients feel throughout the visit.

I’ve traveled solo to more than 30 countries. I’m also interested in Napoleonic and World War history.
